Batman Arkham City Launch Party Ground Zero

Have I mentioned how so much I despise Bruce Wayne? He's often written as a pharisaical, narcissistic saccade (where Batman's just a totalistic jerk). And then I'm hoping that's Dini's way of signaling the role's in for a takedown. After lines like that, I need to see Wayne/Batman on the hook almost as much as Two-Face Beaver State Hugo Strange.

I didn't gaming much of the bet on (you know, the 1:00 in the morning thing), but right inaccurate, Arkham City feels different. Maybe it's the lighting-up snow falling, or the silhouetted Burton-esque cityscape. Maybe it's the old-brick buildings and neon signs, or level the way the colours seem to a greater extent variegated. Arkham Institution mat up like the world's dingiest Hallowe'en house party, a claustrophobic madhouse shrouded in green-tinged (and eventually poison-green) miasma. Arkham City looks more like a Batman-fashio Gotham city should, and I'm actually stirred to dawdler around whatever they've carved off for the game.

And so? Sopor. I acknowledge, traditionalist fail, but I promise, more soon.
